This session will bring together senior principals from international regulatory authorities to discuss how regulatory approaches have changed as the result of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The session will focus on the fungibility of nuclear regulatory authorities and discuss best practices from the past two years that can be leveraged in a post-pandemic environment (e.g., modified inspection schedules, remote inspections, extended teleworking). The session will highlight the importance of real-time sharing of regulatory information across borders, which is often unseen by external stakeholders.
