W15 Looking Ahead at Domestic Implementation of International Export Controls
This panel will feature subject matter experts on the Nuclear Suppliers Group (National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)), 10 CFR Part 810 (NNSA), and 10 CFR Part 110 (NRC)), as the Nuclear Suppliers Group Guidelines are the foundation of 10 CFR Part 810 and 10 CFR Part 110 and are the backbone of much of the US's export control regime. This panel will discuss how the Guidelines and their implementation would be affected by emerging technology, like advanced reactors, and how those entities can adapt to ensure a safe and secure future.
