IT4  Ready, Set, Respond—NRC Operation Center Interactive Tour #4

Attendees participating in-person will experience the inner workings of the NRC Operations Center, which serves as the coordination point for communicating with NRC licensees, State entities, and other Federal agencies about operating events in both the nuclear reactor and nuclear materials industries. Attendees will select designated tour times and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours will depart from the lower level of the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. From there, participants will walk together to the Three White Flint North building. Entry to all NRC facilities requires screening of individuals and their belongings as well as valid photo ID (i.e., driver’s license or passport). Please note that masks are optional. Participants are not permitted to bring any large items (e.g., suitcases, luggage) or any electronic devices into the NRC Operations Center, and photography is strictly prohibited. We recommend that attendees bring only what they need to expedite entry. NRC staff will escort visitors for the duration of the tour. Please check in at the Tour Desk at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.

Online attendees will be able to view a video tour of the NRC Operations Center through the conference platform.
