Ditebogo Kgomo

Ditebogo Kgomo, the CEO of the NNR and current Chairperson of the South African Council for the Non-proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, is a public servant and an Executive Coach and a member of the International Gender Champions Impact Group.

Previous roles include serving the NNR as the executive responsible for Nuclear a technology and NORM and in the Department of Energy in various positions such as chief director responsible for nuclear policy, chief director responsible for nuclear energy which entailed managing and coordinating all nuclear and related matters in the department. In the past she has also been a member of the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Task Force on Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy, the board of the Strategic Fuel Fund, IAEA Standing Advisory Group on Technical Cooperation, the board of the NNR and the advisory board of the South African Environmental Observation Network.

She holds a Master of Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, Master of Laws on Energy Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (UK) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Coaching.
