Nicholas Buggs serves as the Chief Enterprise Architect within the NRC’s Office of the Chief Information Officer, where he directs the Enterprise Architecture program and spearheads the agency’s efforts to responsibly integrate artificial intelligence into NRC operations. With a proven track record of advancing IT governance, program efficiency, and digital transformation, Nicholas has played a pivotal role in the development and deployment of SimplifAI, the NRC’s inaugural generative AI solution, enabling staff to streamline research, accelerate content creation, and enhance decision-making across mission and organizational support programs.
