Jody Martin

Jody C. Martin serves as the Deputy Director for the Office of International Programs. From February 2024 – February 2026 he was the Associate Director for Operations (ADO),in the Office of the Executive Director for Operations, where he served as the NRC's Performance Improvement Officer and Evaluation Officer. From 2020 – 2024, he served as the Director of the Office of Commission Appellate Adjudication, which is responsible for assisting the Commission in every aspect of its quasi-judicial role.

Mr. Martin joined the NRC in 2006 as part of the Honor Law Graduate Program in the Office of the General Counsel. While in OGC, Mr. Martin completed rotations in the Divisions of Operating Reactors, Materials Litigation and Enforcement, and Legal Counsel. Mr. Martin then served in the Division of New Reactor Programs, where he gained increasingly more responsible positions, ultimately becoming Deputy Assistant General Counsel and Acting Assistant General Counsel for New Reactor Programs. Mr. Martin also served as Legal Counsel for a Commissioner. And he has completed rotations as Acting Assistant General Counsel for Materials Litigation and Enforcement in OGC and as Acting Deputy Budget Director in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Martin is a graduate of the NRC's Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program. He is also a graduate of the University of Delaware and The George Washington University School of Law.
