Jeffrey Lubbers
Jeffrey S. Lubbers was appointed Professor of the Practice of Administrative Law at American University's Washington College of Law in 2009, after being a Fellow in Law and Government since 1996. He specializes in Administrative Law and related courses. He has also taught at various law schools in the U.S. and abroad, especially Japan. He has an A.B. egree from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, and is a member of the bars of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining American University, he served as Research Director for the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS), where he is now Special Counsel. He is the author of the Guide to Federal Agency Rulemaking, published by the-American Bar Association (ABA) (6th ed. 2018) and co-author of Administrative Law and Practice in a Nutshell (West) (5th ed. 2017).
