Michelle Catts

Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH), she is responsible for ensuring the oversight and continuous improvement of world-class Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, and managing an international team of over 75 people and a multimillion-dollar budget. She has a demonstrated history of working in the private and government nuclear industry. Prior to working at GVH, she worked at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissioner in positions of increasing responsibility from a resident inspector to the Policy Advisor for the Presidential appointed Chairman. She is currently serving as the Chair of the World Nuclear Association CORDEL Working Group. Michelle earned a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University. She recently completed her MBA at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2023. She lives in Wilmington with her two children and French bulldog.
