Paul Shanes
Paul is the Professional Lead for Cyber Security at the United Kingdom's Office for Nuclear Regulation. As a Superintending Inspector he is responsible for the regulation of cyber security across the sector to ensure that risks are managed proportionately and effectively.
Prior to joining ONR Paul held a number of senior roles across central government, predominantly within Defense and Critical National Infrastructure. He holds a Masters in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, is a Chartered Security Professional and Fellow of both the Security Institute and British Computer Society.
Paul holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has attended NATO Defence College and regularly advises the IAEA as a recognised specialist in Cyber Security.
