Mr. Dickson joined the NRC in 1996 and is currently a Branch Chief in the Division of Operating Reactor Safety in Region III.  He started his NRC career as a Reactor Engineer in Region III's Division of Reactor Projects.  Since joining the NRC, he has held positions as Resident Inspector at Dresden, Senior Resident Inspector at Clinton Power Station and Braidwood Nuclear Station, and Branch Chief in the Division of Reactor Safety and the Division of Reactor Projects in Region III.  More recently, Mr. Dickson completed assignments as the Acting Director for the Division of Acquisitions Management in the Office of Administration, the Acting Deputy Director of the Division of Inspection of Regional Support (currently the Division of Reactor Oversight) in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation and has completed assignments as the Acting Deputy Director for the Division of Reactor Project, Region III.

Before joining the NRC, Mr. Dickson was a Nuclear Engineer with Scientech, LLC in Rockville, MD, and a Nuclear Engineer with Jupiter Corporation in Wheaton, MD.  Mr. Dickson received a B.S. degree in nuclear engineering from Mississippi State University.
