Erin Carfang
Erin Carfang serves as the Engineering Branch 1 and Crane Restart Branch Chief in Region I, Division of Operating Reactor Safety. Ms. Carfang joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission in 2009, as an engineering inspector in Region I's Division of Reactor Safety. She served in progressively responsible position including: Beaver Valley resident inspector, Pilgrim senior resident inspector, Chief, Projects Branch 1, Division of Reactor Projects. Before working for the NRC, Ms. Carfang served seven years in the US Navy. Ms. Carfang received a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.
