Dennis Moore
Dennis Moore, Senior Manager, Constellation Corporate Licensing, serves as the Licensing Lead for the Crane Clean Energy Center restart project. In this capacity, Dennis is pivotal in supporting regulatory strategies and executing licensing deliverables essential for the safe return to operation of a previously shut-down nuclear generating unit. He skillfully coordinates cross-functional licensing efforts, ensuring regulatory alignment and disciplined implementation by interfacing with leadership, Site Regulatory Assurance, Engineering, and Restart Project teams. With over 24 years of experience in commercial nuclear power, Dennis began his career as an Equipment Operator and advanced through roles of increasing responsibility in plant operations, regulatory assurance, emergency preparedness, and licensing. He achieved his Senior Reactor Operator license at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station and served as the Regulatory Assurance Manager at Nine Mile Point in upstate New York. Following his tenure at Nine Mile Point, Dennis dedicated approximately five years to leading Constellation Emergency Preparedness, enhancing regulatory compliance, drill and exercise performance, and program readiness. Before his commercial nuclear career, Dennis served in the United States Navy as a naval Reactor Operator aboard the USS Bainbridge, gaining invaluable experience in reactor operations. He is an esteemed graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he achieved Magna Cum Laude honors with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Dennis's extensive experience and unwavering commitment to nuclear power, regulatory excellence and safety make him a distinguished figure in the nuclear energy industry.
