Inna Pletukhina

Inna is an Associate in the Global Nuclear Practice at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where she advises governments, lenders, and commercial entities on nuclear power projects involving both traditional and advanced reactor technologies. Inna brings extensive international experience to her role, most recently from her tenure at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). While at the IAEA’s Office of Legal Affairs, she led the IAEA's first international conference on nuclear law, facilitated the creation of a university partnership program on nuclear law with six education institutions worldwide, and oversaw the publication of the IAEA’s inaugural book on the subject, Nuclear Law: the Global Debate. Prior to this, Inna served as a communications officer in the IAEA’s Division of Nuclear Security and authored numerous articles on nuclear security. She has worked closely with operators, regulators, and government stakeholders globally during her tenure at the U.S. Department of State, collaborating on nuclear security initiatives. In recognition of her contributions to the field, Inna was featured in “Women Leading the Way” by the International Journal of Nuclear Security in 2021, and in 2023 received a European Women’s International Leadership Award for her work in the international nuclear sector.
