W10 Fueling Minds, Powering Reactors
This panel session will provide a forum for young nuclear regulators from around the world to discuss how their organizations are recruiting and retaining the next generation of nuclear safety and security talent to enable deployment of new and advanced reactors in their countries. This will include panelists sharing perspectives on knowledge management and transfer between junior and senior staff, and how each panelist’s organization utilizes educational opportunities and grants, training, benefits, and more. The session will also foster a discussion of how agencies are employing their junior staff, preparing them for future advancement, and ensuring that diverse viewpoints are heard.
