Ms. Basia Sall serves as the Director of the Data, Information Management, and Enterprise Governance (DIME) Division within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). In this capacity, she also holds the role of NRC’s Chief Data Officer, leading the agency's strategic initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, data governance, and enterprise information management. Her work drives innovation and ensures that data and technology align with the NRC's mission-critical objectives.

Since joining the NRC in 2007 as a Senior IT Specialist in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Ms. Sall has distinguished herself through exemplary leadership and vision. Her career trajectory includes managing the NRC Leadership Development Program within the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) and serving as Branch Chief for the Service Fulfillment and Delivery Branch in OCIO. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director of the IT Service Delivery and Operations Division in OCIO, where her efforts in advancing technology adoption and improving operational efficiency earned her the NRC’s prestigious Meritorious Service Award in 2022.

With her dynamic leadership and forward-looking approach, Ms. Sall continues to shape the NRC’s data strategy and technological innovation, ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of regulatory excellence.
