T6  Cultivating the Creativity of Innovation

Value creation is at the heart of innovation, whether that innovation is incremental, expansive, or disruptive. Participants in this discussion will explore how innovation thrives in a creative culture. But how is the NRC fostering a culture of innovation? With the goal of achieving our mission in the most efficient and effective manner possible, the NRC is a longstanding proponent of innovation. This session considers the foundation of how NRC began to innovate as a regulatory body and discusses ways to continue fostering a more creative and innovative environment. Participants will learn from a diverse panel of experts how innovation can be a part of day-to-day work as the NRC continues to explore opportunities to evolve, improve, and meet the needs of the constantly changing nuclear regulation landscape.
