Tim Riti
Timothy Riti is the Director of Regulatory Affairs at the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), where he leads industry engagement on key regulatory areas, including reactor oversight and operator licensing for the current operating reactor fleet. He has more than 30 years of experience spanning nuclear plant operations, engineering, training, and regulatory affairs. At NEI, Tim chairs the Reactor Oversight Process Task Force and the Licensed Operator Focus Group. He also serves as the volunteer chair of the ANS-3.1 Working Group supporting industry training standards and workforce development. Tim holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has completed executive leadership education at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He previously held both Reactor Operator and Senior Reactor Operator licenses and completed the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Senior Nuclear Plant Management course.
