Cleve Reasoner leads Evergy’s nuclear operations as Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, and serves as Chief Executive Officer of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation. He is responsible for the safe and reliable performance of Wolf Creek, guiding strategic initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and safety culture.With more than three decades in the nuclear industry, Cleve began his career at Arkansas Nuclear One in 1990 and advanced through engineering leadership roles to Director of Engineering. In 2009 he joined Ameren’s Callaway plant as Vice President of Engineering and later Site Vice President before joining Wolf Creek in 2014. His leadership journey at Wolf Creek includes roles as Vice President of Engineering, Site Vice President, and ultimately Chief Executive Officer in 2018.Originally from Pottsville, Arkansas, Cleve earned a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from the University of Arkansas–Little Rock. He serves on the boards of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and the National Academy for Nuclear Training Accreditation Board, championing innovation and workforce development.
